Known from northern (Kuei-ho harbor, Wan-li (Ref. 43539) and occasionally found in Shihman (Ref. 43538)), southern, and western Taiwan (including Tung-hsiao, Tai-chung, Yun-gan (Ref. 43515) and Hsiao-liu-chiu) and from the Penghu, Lanyu, and Green islands (Ref. 48445, 48451).
